After being on the Crosstown tornado scene clearing debris, providing extra hands and lending moral support, students at Immanuel Lutheran School followed up with a large donation of supplies including toys, necessities and school and personal hygiene items to the Red Cross Southeast Missouri Chapter. The items will be given to families affected by the storm.
"This kind donation is part of an important step to comfort families and help aim them toward the road to recovery," said Brett Nelson, development specialist of the Red Cross Southeast Missouri Chapter. "Now we face the duty of funding our endeavors and we are in deep need of monetary donations."
