JONESBORO, Ill. -- An Anna, Ill., man has been sentenced to six years in prison on a drug charge, Union County State's Attorney Tyler Edmonds announced Tuesday. Freddy L. Morse Jr., 40, of 120 Casey St. in Anna pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful participation in methamphetamine production, Edmonds said in a news release. Officers arrested Morse on July 9 at his home after an investigation by the Union County Sheriff's Department, the release said. Unlawful participation in methamphetamine production is a Class X felony.
