A fugitive from Randolph County, Illinois, has been apprehended in Perry County, Missouri.
Michael Wayne Reed, 40, was arrested April 15 in Chester, Illinois, on charges of predatory criminal sexual assualt of a child but "fled from justice," online court records show. His bond had been set at $75,000. Reed was apprehended Tuesday by Perry County sheriff's deputies and signed a waiver of extradition, consenting to return to Randolph County.
