TAMMS, Ill. -- The Illinois Affiliate of the American Heart Association has formed a seven-county CPR Coordinating Committee. The committee will be responsible for service area 85, which includes Alexander, Pulaski, Massac, Johnson, Pope, Hardin and Gallatin counties.

Irwin Faulkner of Tamms was named chairman of the committee. Debra Goddard of Goreville was named secretary.

The committee will serve as a clearninghouse for persons and organizations seeking information and training in basic life support.
