Freezing rain Thursday morning will continue through the day, mixing at times with sleet and snow. As much as a quarter inch of ice may accumulate, particularly on raised surfaces.

Ice on trees and power lines stressed from last weeks' storms could lead to power outages and falling branches.

Though roads have been treated by street crews, dangerous driving conditions could still develop. The National Weather Service statement notes that area rivers are also at risk for minor to moderate flooding.
