Miller's 8-year-old sister, Myriah, is a skater at The Ice in Cape Girardeau where the benefit will be held, beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday. She has been skating since age 3.

Skaters performing Saturday have raised at least $100 in donations to help defray Miller's costs.

Donations will be accepted.
