SIKESTON, Mo. -- Pavement repairs to Interstate 57 in Mississippi County began Monday and will continue through July 26. Southbound I-57 from the Illinois state line to two miles south of Highway 105, exit 10 at Charleston, Mo., is reduced to one lane with a 16-foot width restriction. Weather permitting, the interstate will reopen at 7 p.m. July 26. The work zone is marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
