Southbound Interstate 57 in Mississippi County will be reduced to one lane next week while Missouri Department of Transportation crews do core drilling. The lane reduction will be from the Mississippi River bridge to U.S. 60/62 (exit 12). Weather permitting, work will be performed Monday through Oct. 7 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area. For more information, contact MoDOT's Customer Service Center at 888-275-6636.
