SIKESTON, Mo. -- Southbound Interstate 55 in Perry County will be reduced to one lane today and Wednesday with a 12-foot restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. This section of road is from Route K at mile marker 127 extending two miles south to mile marker 125.

Weather permitting, the work will begin at 7 a.m. today and conclude by 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
