I-55 in Pemiscot County reduced for pavement work

SIKESTON, Mo. -- North- and southbound Interstate 55 from Route T to Route U in Pemiscot County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews resurface the highway.

Weather permitting, the work will be done Wednesday and Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
