I-55 in New Madrid County reduced for bridge repairs

SIKESTON, Mo. -- North- and southbound Interstate 55 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane today and Tuesday, while Missouri Department of Transportation crews make bridge repairs.
This section of road is at the Route M overpass between Route EE and Highway 162.

Weather permitting, the work will be done from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
