Northbound and southbound Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau and Perry counties, from Route E to the Ste. Genevieve County line, will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width as work crews install a guardrail.
Weather permitting, the work will be done Monday through Nov. 8, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
