I-55 in Cape County will be reduced to one lane for bridge repairs

North- and southbound Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane Wednesday and Oct. 14 while Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform routine bridge repairs. The bridge is at Route AB and spans the Diversion Channel. Weather permitting, work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. The work zone will be marked with signs.
