Legal fees have soared into the $65,000 range, but Paul House, a minister attending Good News Christian Center in Jackson, was able to keep up until recently. His car was repossessed and a St. Louis judge ordered him to catch up on court costs.

The Houses have received about $1,000 in donations from members of their church, but more is needed to retain a lawyer and keep custody of their granddaughter.

Donations may be sent to: The Harvest Ministries-G.G. House Benefit Fund, Capital (Union Planters) Bank, P.O. Box 1519, Cape Girardeau, Mo., 63702-1519, to the attention of Debbie Suhre.
