Young men and women between the ages of 14 and 17 are eligible for the program. A Junior Volunteer orientation session is scheduled for Wednesday, June 9, at 9 a.m., at the St. Francis Health and Education Centre.

"Serving as Junior Volunteer is an excellent way for high school students to find out about the many types of careers available in the health care field," said Pat Miller, director of the St. Francis Volunteer Services Department. "Our Junior Volunteers gain valuable insights into these career opportunities which can help them make some decisions about their own futures."
