The Cape Girardeau Public Library will hold a program for parents and children in grades three through six about homework.
The program will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Hirsch Community Room of the library.
Joanie Skinner, a teacher at Jefferson Elementary School, will talk about the purpose of homework, types of assignments and how parents can help.
Candy Heise, adult services coordinator, and Ann Randolph, youth services librarian, will provide tours of the youth services and adult services reference areas.
