Float your boat: Engine trouble kept this boat ride -- new to Homecomers -- from working early in the week, but none of the youngsters in town found the celebration to be all wet.
Miss Missouri conducts: Miss Missouri Arron Wendel took a turn conducting the Jackson Municipal Band on Tuesday night, during opening evening festivities at Jackson Homecomers.

Watching the show: Area veterans watched and listened as the Jackson Municipal Band played a selection of patriotic music and other tunes Tuesday night.
Generations: Young and old enjoyed the opening night of Homecomers, which was Tuesday.
