Holocaust scholar to speak at SEMO on Nov. 8 and 9

Holocaust scholar Dr. Avinoam Patt will lecture at Southeast Missouri State University Tuesday and Wednesday about Nazi persecution of Jews and the creation of the nation of Israel.

Patt will speak Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Crisp Hall's Dempster Auditorium about Israel.

He will lecture about Nazi persecution of Jews at noon Wednesday in the University Center Party Room.

Both lectures are free and open to the public.

Patt is a research scholar at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies.
