Holiday hours for libraries
The Cape Girardeau Public Library will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday for the Christmas holiday. Hours on Dec. 31 will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library will be closed on New Year's Day. The Jackson Public Library will also be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. It will close at 6 p.m. today...

The area's Riverside Regional Library, with locations in Jackson, Scott City, Benton and Oran, will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
The Chaffee Public Library will be closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for Christmas, and on New Year's Day. The Bollinger County Library will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
