HILLIN AND CLARK MARKS 20 YEARS

Hillin and Clark, a certified public accounting firm, is observing its 20th anniversary.

The firm, founded by James Hillin in 1972, moved to its offices at 1917 William in 1978.

Ten years ago Dwayne Clark became a shareholder in the firm.

Hillin and Clark, with offices in Cape Girardeau and Hayti, employs 14 people.

It is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. It also is a member of the Private Companies Practice section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, which requires members to undergo peer reviews.

Hillin and Clark had its first peer review in 1990.

Practice areas include auditing, income tax services for business and individuals, financial statement preparation, estate and personal financial planning, and business consulting.

Certified public accountants in the firm include Hillin, Clark, Stephen Del Vecchio, Laura Sparkman and Mark Elfrink.
