Weight inspector R. Cobb observed some irregularities on the 84 Peterbilt being driven by the suspects when it was stopped near here on Interstate 55 about 9:35 a.m.

Cobb found bolts that were unusual on the outside air breathers of the truck. His suspicion was also aroused when the suspects changed their stories several times.

After the highway patrol asked for and received permission to search the truck, the marijuana was found in the air breathers.
