SIKESTON, Mo. -- The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded several contracts for Southeast District projects during its meeting June 5. The work contracts included sidewalk improvements, guardrail and guard cable repair, and adding signs for the Trans-American Bike Trail. In Cape Girardeau County, a $115,214 contract to Fronabarger Concreters, Inc., for sidewalk improvements on Route E and Route D in Oak Ridge in Cape Girardeau County. Additional information regarding timelines and impacts to traffic for the various projects will be released before the start of construction.
