Highway 74 reduced to one lane Friday

SIKESTON, Mo. — Highway 74 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane while MoDOT crews perform concrete repairs, starting at 9 a.m. Friday.

This section of road is located between the intersection of Sprigg Street and Fountain Street in Cape Girardeau.

Weather permitting, the work will be completed by 4 p.m. Saturday.

Drivers are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
