Highway 72 in Madison County will be reduced to one lane with an 11-foot width restriction in November, while contractor crews mill and resurface the roadway. This section of road is from Route OO to the new Highway 72 bypass in Fredericktown, Mo. Weather permitting, the work will begin at 6:30 a.m. Monday and will completed Dec. 1. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorist are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
