Highway 25 in Stoddard and Cape Girardeau counties will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction while contractor crews perform milling and asphalt paving. The section of road is between Highway 91 and the Diversion Channel bridge north of Highway 77. Weather permitting, traffic will be reduced for milling from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Asphalting will begin Aug. 15 and continue through the end of the month from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorist are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
