SIKESTON, Mo. -- Work to replace the Highway 142 bridge over Main Ditch in Butler County is expected to begin July 16, weather permitting. The bridge is about three miles east of Neelyville, Mo. During construction, the highway will be closed from County Road 351 to County Road 259. Completion is anticipated by mid-August. Signs and warning devices will be in place. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
