A Perry County deputy placed Jason K. Bartlett under arrest on Wednesday for outstanding warrants resulting from a high-speed vehicle chase into and out of Perryville on March 5, according to a news release from the Perry County Sheriff's Department.
"Bartlett, who is on parole, arrived at the Perryville Probation and Parole office shortly after 3:00 p.m. and they notified us," Perry County Sheriff Gary J. Schaaf said in the news release.
Bartlett faces felony charges for resisting arrest, plus additional charges of possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident, speeding and displaying plates of another vehicle.
At the time of the incident, he was on parole for possession of dangerous drugs.
