An autism support group will meet with parents of autistic children at 6:30 p.m. today in Cape Girardeau to address how to better coordinate services for such students in the public schools.
"We are trying to concentrate some efforts on what is working, isn't working and what we can do to better coordinate services and understand issues our families face," said Janis Traughber with MPACT, a statewide parent training and information organization that seeks to improve schooling for all children with disabilities.
The meeting will be held in the South Healing Arts meeting room at Saint Francis Medical Center.
