HEARTLAND WRITERS GUILD TO MEET SUNDAY, MAY 15

The Heartland Writers Guild will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Sikeston. The Heartland Writers Guild meets every second Sunday of each month and is a group comprised of published and unpublished authors devoted to the promotion and support of the concept of professionalism in writing.

The Heartland Writers Guild will participate in the Heartland Writers Guild Conference Aug. 4-7.

The conference will consist of workshops taught by published authors, agents and editors. One of the highlights of the conference will be a civil-war re-enactment fashion show which will reveal clothing of the era from full gowns to uniforms.
