HEART UNIT PLANS WALK SATURDAY
The American Heart Association's annual Heart Walk will be held Saturday at Cape Girardeau County Park North. The 5K run begins at 7:30 a.m., with registration from 6:30 to 6:45. The one-mile walk begins at 9, with registration at 8:30. Refreshments will be provided to the walkers and runners. Prizes will be awarded to participants who have collected the largest donations...

Ten Southeast Missouri State University athletes will participate in the walk. For a $5 donation, children may walk the route and talk with the athletes. Children will receive a SEMO frisbee.
