HEAD-ON CRASH INJURES THREE

MARBLE HILL - A head-on collision on Highway 34 at the west city limits here at 6:01 p.m. Thursday resulted in one man and two teenagers being transported to Cape Girardeau hospitals with serious injuries.

The highway patrol said Timothy Crader, 16, of Advance was passing another vehicle westbound on the crest of a hill when his 86 Pontiac collided with an 86 Dodge being driven eastbound by Darrell Hatley, 43, of Murphysboro, Ill.

Crader was transported to Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Hatley was transported to St. Francis Medical Center.

Derrick Schatte, 16, of Advance, a passenger in Crader's car, was also transported to St. Francis Medical Center.
