The Harold Holmes Dugger Lecture, titled "J. William Fulbright and Liberal Internationalism," will be delivered by Dr. Randall Woods of the University of Arkansas April 17 at Southeast Missouri State University.
The lecture is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Glenn Auditorium in Robert A. Dempster Hall.
Woods' biography of Fulbright was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize and received the Robert H. Ferrell Prize for the Best Book on American Foreign Relations.
Woods, a senior fellow at the Fulbright Institute, is a history professor at the University of Arkansas.
A dinner will be held in the commons area of Dempster Hall prior to the lecture. Reservations for the dinner may be made through the history department. The deadline for reservations is Friday.
