DUQUOIN, Ill. -- Harness racing, auto racing, agriculture displays and grandstand entertainment featuring Travis Tritt, Lorrie Morgan, Cheap Trick and Diamond Rio are among highlights of the DuQuoin State Fair here this week.
The 11-day extravaganza started last week and will wind down Sept. 5.
The World Trotting Derby will be held at the DuQuoin track Sept. 3. Other trotting races Saturday are the Governor's Cup and the Misty Misty race. Post time for the World Trotting Derby is noon. Other harness racing events will be held Thursday and Friday.
Two days of auto racing are on the schedule, with the ARCA Super Series 250K run Sunday and the USAC 100-mile event on Labor Day.
A monster truck show will be presented Saturday night.
Agriculture exhibits of products, animals, and farm equipment are displayed daily.
Grandstand events for the week start tonight, with Travis Tritt and special guest Lee Roy Parnell. All grandstand shows start at 8 p.m.

Wednesday: Lorrie Morgan and Tracy Lawrence.
Sept. 2: Cheap Trick with special guest, Loverboy.
Sept. 3: Diamond Rio with special guest Lari White.
Sept. 4: David Lee Roth with special guest Firehouse.
Sept. 5: Tim McGraw and Toby Keith.
