Nick Altamore, who owns a school of cosmetology in Rockford, Ill., and is considered in the hair stylist industry as the number one "clipper cutter" in the U.S., will be guest artist during the Southeast Missouri Cosmetologists' Competition and Trade Show, to be held Oct. 26-27 at the Drury Lodge.

Altamore, who formulated the Visions line of beauty products, will appear on the platform at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 27.

The theme of the two-day show, which is being sponsored by the Regional Cosmetology Association, Affiliate No. 23, is "Puttin On The Ritz."

Included on the schedule of events will be various hair-styling competitions, male fashion contest, fantasy competition, and exhibitions by top manufacturers and distributors.

Paul W. Burleson of Dexter will be show chairman. Gary Stroder and Carolyn Rouviere, both of Cape Girardeau, will serve as professional-competition chairpersons; and Mary Jane Ervin and Stephen Quick will serve as student-competition chairpersons.
