GUN SHOP REOPENS

Goode's Guns is reopening.

The gun shop which closed almost two years ago is reopening on Highway 177, north of Cape Girardeau.

"We'll open Tuesday," said Doug Beard, who will manage the store. "We'll have more than 500 firearms in stock."

The new business, owned by Betty Goode, will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

"We'll handle all types of sporting equipment guns, ammunition, holsters," said Beard, who has been involved in the firearms business the past two years. "We'll buy, sell, trade and repair firearms."
