Faire joined the U.S. Army Infantry in January, 1990. He is a 1988 graduate of Jackson High School and attended Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield.
While in basic training, Faire received the Physical Training Award Before being deployed to Saudi Arabia in Jan. 6, he was stationed in Germany. He is with the First Armored Division.
His parents, Donna and Glenn Faire of Jackson, said he likes running, rock music and all types of sports. "He would love to hear from his friends and family," they said.
