Lance Cpl. Depro is the son of Dennis and Stephanie Depro of Cape Girardeau. He graduated from Central High School in 1989.
He completed basic training in San Diego, Calif. Prior to being sent to Saudie Arabia in early January, he was stationed in Okinawa.
He is with the 3rd Marine Division, working in communications.
His mother said mail means a lot to Depro. "He would love to hear from high school friends or anyone else with news from home," she said.
