SPEC. ORLANDO LUMAS

U.S. ARMY

Spec. Lumas is the son of Orena Johnson and Booker T. Lumas of Cape Girardeau. A 1988 graduate of Cape Central High School, Lumas entered the Army that same year.

He completed basic training at Ft. Bragg, Ky., and was stationed in Frankfort, Germany for two years.

He was deployed to Saudi Arabia in December from Ft. Riley, Kansas. He works in a tank division.

Just before he left for the Gulf, he married Aleada Matthews of Cape. His mother said he misses reading the newspaper and would like anything to read. He would also like chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies, she said.
