SGT. PATRICK M. MCGINNIS

U.S. AIR FORCE

Sgt. McGinnis is the son of Pat and John Litwicki of Cape Girardeau.

He attended Notre Dame High School and entered the Air Force in 1980.

He spent four years in Aviano, Italy, where he met his wife, who was then Airman Cheri Hobbs. They married in 1982 and now have two sons, Michael, 7, and Shawn, 4.

He served in the Panama conflict and has been stationed in Saudi Arabia since mid-August.

According to is mother, he likes any kind of snack food or microwaveable food. He also really appreciates mail. "After being there for five months, he and others are very homesick and lonely for their loved ones. They really appreciated the community's invovement with Operation Desert Shield," she said.
