1st Lt. Johnson is the son of Kenneth and Beverly Johnson of Cape Girardeau. He graduated from Cape Central High School in 1982, and Southeast Missouri State University in 1987.
He went on to graduate from the U.S. Air Force Flight School in Del Rio, Texas in 1988.
He has been stationed in Saudi Arabia since Augl 8.
A fighter pilot in the Air Force, 1st Lt. Johnson flies the F-16 "Fighting Falcon." According to his parents, in his letters he says he misses hunting, fishing, family and friends. He would like to hear from friends in Cape.
