SGT. PATRICIA A. BURNS

U.S. AIR FORCE

Sgt. Burns graduated from Cape Central High School in 1982, and after working for a while, she enlisted in the Air Force.

Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burns of Cape Girardeau.

She is a member of the 833rd Security Police.

Before being deployed to Saudi Arabia on Dec. 1, Sgt. Burns was stationed at Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, N.M.

In her phone calls home, she says her tent is air conditioned.

She also says that her living conditions are similar to those depicted in the television show MASH. She often asks for Twinkies and strawberry fig cookies, according to her mother.
