The Eye Tissue Bank operated through the Lion's Club will be the program topic when the United Ostomy Association meets Wednesday at Southeast Missouri Hospital's Regional Cancer Center.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the first floor classroom. The program will be presented by Lion's Club member John Carpenter.
A volunteer organization, United Ostomy Association's goal is to reduce the practical and emotional burdens of those who have undergone ostomy surgery so they may function as fully as possible socially and physically.
