Virtually every orchestral piece includes brief, incidental solos for members of the wind or brass sections. Soloists in the Mozart work will be Green, John Dressler of Murray State University on french horn, Scott Erickson of Murray State University on the oboe, and David Gowans, professor emeritus of Murray State on the bassoon.

The concert will also include the popular "La Mer" by Claude Debussy and Johannes Brahms Symphony No. 2. "La Mer" is a collection of three symphonic sketches which describe the sea at dawn, and the waves, wind and storm at sea.

Green has degrees from Central Methodist College, Wichita University and a doctorate from the University of Missouri.
