Southeast Missouri State University's Greek Week 2015 raised more than $21,000 to honor the memory of three former members and to support local charities. DeAnte Smith, director of Greek Life, said in a news release fraternity and sorority members netted $21,189.39 last week, with $1,500 going to the Bobby Christman Foundation in honor of Christman, a former member of Sigma Phi Epsilon; $1,500 to the Sigma Chi Foundation in honor of Michael Upperman, a former member of Sigma Chi; and $1,500 to Mid America Transplant Services in honor of former Delta Chi member Austen Lamb.. ...

Southeast Missouri State University's Greek Week 2015 raised more than $21,000 to honor the memory of three former members and to support local charities.

In addition, Southeast's Greek community donated $5,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters and $8,500 to the United Way.

During the week, fraternities and sororities collected 35,000 canned goods to support local food pantries and donated 899 units of blood.
