"The Writing Life: Families" will be the theme of the fall section of the Great Books Program at Southeast Missouri State University.
The books and dates of discussion: "Housekeeping" on Thursday; "Rabbit Is Rich," Sept. 22; "The Women of Brewster Place," Oct. 6; "Common Ground," Oct. 20; "Wartime Lies," Nov. 3; and "The Homeplace," Nov. 17. All sessions will be held from 2-4 p.m. in the Program Lounge on the third floor of the University Center.
Participants pay only for their books. Total cost is about $26. Faculty donate their time in leading the discussions.
