GRASSY -- Sarah June Moser, a 13-year-old from Grassy, has been named poster child for the Twin Rivers Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Chapter President Darlene Allen said: "As the Twin Rivers poster child, Sarah will serve as the association's junior goodwill ambassador. She will inspire volunteers in the association's year-round educational and fund-raising drives and will also take part in a number of the chapter's special events."
Sarah is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duaine Moser of Grassy. She was diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease at the age of 8.
