GRADUATE OF CAPE CENTRAL NAMED TEACHER OF THE YEAR

Mary Estes-Gieselman has been named Hazelwood School District's Teacher of the Year for the 1995-96 school year.

She is a 19970 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School.

She also graduate from Southeast Missouri State University in 1974.

She represented the District in state competition in September. She was chosen by a District committee after being nominated by her colleagues at Hazelwood West Junior High, where she is a Social Studies teacher. She has worked with the district for nine years.

Gieselman teaches junior high classes and works with senior high students in planning some of the school major activities.
