Gov. Jay Nixon will lead a roundtable discussion tonight with local elected and emergency response officials of Southeast Missouri to discuss flood response efforts and developments regarding the possible breach of Birds Point Levee. The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. at New Madrid Central High School.

Along with Nixon, discussion speakers will include Maj. Gen. Stephen L. Danner, adjutant general of Missouri; John Britt, Missouri Public Safety director; and Col. Ron Replogle, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The discussion will take place in the superintendent's conference room near the front entrance of the high school.
