Gordonville has been awarded two Missouri Department of Natural Resources grants worth more than $1.2 million and a loan of $1.5 million, the department announced Thursday in a news release. The city was awarded a $252,000 Rural Sewer Grant, a $996,920 State Forty Percent Grant and a $1.5 million Clean Water State Revolving Fund Direct Loan. The city will use the grants and loan as part of a funding package to construct a new wastewater collection and treatment system, according to the news release. The estimated cost for the overall project is $2.8 million, with remaining funds coming from local sources.
