Jeannie Goodman discussed customer service in restaurants from the World Disney Program during the January meeting of the local chapter of the Missouri Restaurant Association.
The meeting was held at HRH Dumplins Restaurant in Cape Girardeau on Jan. 11. Goodman is senior vice president at Boatman's National Bank in Cape Girardeau. She is in charge of marketing and customer relations.
Chapter President Bob Hoppmann conducted the Board of Directors meeting prior to the dinner. Hoppmann reported on several upcoming events.
The chapter will hold its annual Las Vegas Night at the Show Me Center on April 12. Also planned for March and April, a two-day certified sanitation course open to all member and non-member restaurant employees.
The next monthly meeting will be on March 8. It will be a progressive dinner hosted by the SEMO Student chapter of the Missouri Restaurant Association on the Southeast Missouri State University campus.
The Missouri Restaurant Association is the largest trade association for the food service industry in the state of Missouri.
